Grand Kalash Yatra Marks the Auspicious Beginning of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Bhakti Dham
Devotees immerse in an atmosphere of devotion and spirituality
Naukuchiatal (Nainital): The annual Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Bhakti Dham commenced with great fervor and devotion through a grand Kalash Yatra, marking the spiritual beginning of the week-long religious event. Devotees from across the country participated with deep faith and enthusiasm, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere.
The Kalash Yatra began from Bhakti Dham and proceeded towards the revered Shri Maa Ganga Temple situated near Naukuchiatal Lake, popularly known as Har Ji Paudi among local devotees. Carrying sacred pots (Kalash) on their heads, the devotees chanted bhajans, devotional hymns of Lord Ram and Radha-Krishna, along with soul-stirring bhajans by Shri Mauni Maa. The entire route resonated with spiritual chants, drum beats, and flower showers, leaving an unforgettable impression of divine energy.
Like every year, this year too, the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha is being organized under the guidance of Bhakti Dham Trust, from 27 May to 3 June 2025. The event has attracted the presence of many saints and spiritual leaders from different parts of India. A special devotional group from Vrindavan has also graced the event, led by renowned Katha Vachika (narrator) Sushri Maa Madhubani Ji, adding immense spiritual depth to the proceedings.
Several distinguished devotees are also participating and gracing the event with their divine presence, including Dr. Deepa Gupta, Manoj Gupta, Dr. Lata Kandpal, Dr. Lata Kunjwal, Dr. Kusum Sharma, Mohit Gupta, Harshit Gupta, Garima Panwar, Pandit Sanjay Bhatt, Pant Harish Joshi, Kanta, Arvind Kumar, Rohit Dani, Meera Didi, Shobha, and Sanskriti Pawar, among others. Numerous local devotees from Naukuchiatal and nearby villages have also extended their heartfelt support and presence, contributing to the success of the event.
Singh Bisht Gajendra, the manager of Bhakti Dham Trust, shared that a continuous community meal service (Bhandara) will be arranged for the next three months, where all visiting devotees will be offered Prasad and hospitality.
This Kalash Yatra and the beginning of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha provided a rare and uplifting spiritual experience for all involved. It deepened the sense of devotion, unity, and faith among the devotees. The dedication and service of all volunteers and contributors were highly commendable and played a vital role in making the event divine and successful.
