
Champawat. Under the direction of District Magistrate Manish Kumar, the Government Veterinary Hospital Chalthi organized an Anti-Rabies Vaccination (ARV) camp at Government Primary School, Shyamlatal.
During the camp, livestock owners and school children were given detailed information about the dangers of rabies, its symptoms, and preventive measures. Experts highlighted that timely anti-rabies vaccination not only protects animals from rabies but also ensures the safety of human lives. Livestock owners were also encouraged to get their domestic animals vaccinated on time.
In the camp, 15 small animals were administered ARV. School children were also educated about necessary precautions and first-aid measures to prevent rabies so that they could spread awareness within their communities.
On this occasion, Dr. Preeti Bisht (Veterinary Officer, Chalthi), Nisha Oli (Livestock Extension Officer, Sukhidhang), and Anil Kumar Chaudakoti (Maitri) were present and actively contributed to the smooth conduct of the camp.
