
Almora. On the occasion of Shraddh Parv, the Gau Seva Nyas organized a Gau Pitru Tarpan program at Gurukul Shole Gaushala on Monday, with a pledge for cow protection. A large number of devotees and dignitaries were present at the event.
Prominent attendees included Hem Joshi, Anand Singh Bagadwal, Pratap Singh Satyal, Yashwant Parihar, Pawan Sah, Manoj Sanwal, Dayakrishna Kandpal, Chandramani Bhatt, Swati Tiwari, Janaki Kandpal, Anandi Verma, among others.
On this occasion, Minister of State Ganga Bisht also arrived with her associates. Praising the management of the gaushala, she said that such programs play an important role in raising awareness about cow protection in society.
Dayakrishna Kandpal, Secretary of Gau Seva Nyas, briefed the Minister about the current situation of the gaushala. He explained that during the monsoon season, damaged roads cause difficulties in the movement of cattle, and there is an urgent need for road repairs.
Taking note of the issues, Minister of State Ganga Bisht assured full cooperation and promised to provide the necessary facilities for the gaushala.
