Almora. Two bright Class 10 students of PM Shri Government Model Inter College, Almora, Ragini Bora and Sania Bisht, have been selected for the prestigious Thal Sainik Camp, Delhi. Both are cadets of the 24 UK Girls Battalion, NCC.
Expressing her delight over this remarkable achievement, the Principal Vijaya Pant said that both cadets have brought pride not only to the school but also to the entire Almora district. She credited their success to their mentor and NCC in-charge, First Officer Uma Tiwari, and extended heartfelt congratulations.
On this occasion, NCC in-charge First Officer Uma Tiwari, Principal Vijaya Pant, and Subedar Major Dipendra Singh of 24 UK Battalion, Almora, congratulated the cadets and wished them a bright future.
The Principal further added that in the coming years, more cadets will be encouraged to participate in various national camps to instill discipline, confidence, and patriotism among them.
She also urged more students to join the NCC and actively participate in such national-level camps, so they can bring glory to themselves, their families, and their school, while setting an example of discipline and love for the nation.
