Strict warning issued to violators

The Municipal Corporation of Almora carried out an encroachment removal drive in the Rajpur Bhyarkhola area on Tuesday. The action was taken following repeated complaints regarding illegal constructions on public roads and government land.
The drive was led by Assistant Municipal Commissioner Laxman Singh, with the support of a municipal team that included Junior Engineer Minika Takuli, Tax Inspector Dheeraj Kandpal, Pawan Pandey, Harsh Agrawal, Manoj Mishra, Basant Ballabh Pandey, Sanjay, Kailash, Ravindra, and Akash, among others.
After removing the unauthorized structures, the encroachers were strictly warned to carry out any construction only within the limits of their own property, failing which legal action will be taken. Officials emphasized that public spaces must remain unobstructed for community use and safety.
The Municipal Corporation has stated that such anti-encroachment drives will continue in other areas as well to maintain urban order and uphold the law.
