
Almora. The BJP Mahila Morcha staged a strong protest on Saturday against the alleged derogatory remarks made by Congress leaders towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother. Party workers expressed their outrage by burning an effigy of the Congress party.
District President of BJP Mahila Morcha, Leela Bora, condemned the incident, stating that during Rahul Gandhi’s rally in Bihar, abusive language was used against the Prime Minister and his late mother. “This is not just an insult to Modi Ji’s mother, but an insult to every mother and woman in the country,” she said. Bora also accused Rahul Gandhi of using indecent language in public and added, “Leaders who use such words return empty-handed in elections.” She further said that in Indian culture, women are considered goddesses, and insulting a deceased woman is utterly disgraceful.
BJP Nagar President Vineet Bisht also denounced the remarks made from Rahul Gandhi’s stage in Darbhanga, Bihar. He said such acts reflect the Congress party’s negative and hateful politics which will push the party further into decline. “The more Congress abuses, the more the lotus will bloom,” he said, demanding that Rahul Gandhi apologize to Prime Minister Modi and his late mother.
Those present at the protest included BJP Mahila Morcha’s State Co-Media In-charge Poonam Paliwal, District Vice President Tara Jeena, Nagar Vice President Deepa Adhikari, BJP leader Kamla Tiwari, District Vice President Kailash Gururani, State Executive Member Ravi Rautela, Nagar President Vineet Bisht, Former Nagar President & General Secretary Manoj Joshi, Nagar General Secretary Devendra Bhatt, along with Puran Rawat, Ghanshyam Tiwari, Krishna Bahadur Singh, Sagar Verma, Ranjeet Bhandari, and several other party workers.
During the protest, BJP workers raised slogans against the Congress leadership, alleging that the party had insulted women. They declared that such politics would never be tolerated by the people of India.
