
Young talents mesmerize with folk dances, mothers’ participation adds charm
Almora. The cultural capital of Uttarakhand, Almora, witnessed a vibrant evening on Saturday during the historic Maa Nanda Devi Fair 2025. The courtyard of Nanda Devi Temple resonated with thunderous applause and melodious folk tunes when the young artists of Natraj Dance Institute, Almora took over the stage with their spectacular performances.
Under the direction of Neeraj Singh Bisht and Harsh Tamta, the children presented folk dances, group performances, and emotional solo acts. Among these, the dances based on traditional Kumaoni folk rhythms stood out and won the hearts of the audience. The colorful traditional costumes, innocence, and boundless energy of the children brought the entire atmosphere to life. The spectators continuously cheered and clapped, boosting the confidence of the young performers.
