
Almora. Under the banner of Maa Nanda Sunanda Mahila Sanstha, a grand Nauki and Bhajan Sandhya dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati was organized with great devotion and enthusiasm at the premises of Ramsay Inter College, Almora.
The program commenced with collective Kanya Pujan and lamp lighting. The soulful bhajans presented by local artists filled the atmosphere with devotion, while the Dandiya dance enthralled the audience with its vibrant performances.
The major attraction of the evening was the performance by star artists Khushi Joshi, Rakesh Paneru, and their team, whose mesmerizing acts received repeated applause from the audience.
The success of the program was credited to the dedicated efforts of the Sanstha’s office bearers and members. These included president Kiran Pant, secretary Ritu Pant, treasurer Poonam Bohra, vice presidents Meena Joshi and Hema Matela, patron Alka Najjaun, organizer Sonika Karnataka, along with members Leeta Chauhan, Rita Kapoor, Bina Joshi, Bina Pandey, Bina Nayal Joshi, Neema Pant, Sushila Joshi, Shobha Nagkoti, Seema Gosai, Chandra Joshi, Pratibha Verma, Seema Bedi, Neetu Kakkar, Uma Tiwari, Femina Khan, Sonia, Deepa Bohra and many others. Their collective efforts made the event memorable.
The event witnessed the presence of a large number of distinguished guests. Among the special guests were former Deputy Speaker of Uttarakhand Assembly Raghunath Singh Chauhan, former District President Ravi Rautela, former State Youth Morcha President Kundan Latwal, senior Congress leader Tara Chand Joshi, Gopal Jeena, Harish Kanwal, Dharmendra Bisht, Ajit Karki, Dr. Lakshman, Kailash Gururani, Manoj Singh Negi, Lata Bora, Kamal Bisht, Shobha Joshi, Ashish Gururani, Maya Upadhyay, along with several other social and political representatives.
All guests and attendees were warmly welcomed by the Sanstha. The organizers expressed that such events not only strengthen religious faith but also help preserve and promote cultural traditions in society.
The program concluded with distribution of prasad to all devotees and guests. The grand celebration saw enthusiastic participation from the townspeople, and the premises resonated with chants of “Jai Maa Bhagwati.”
