
Almora, District Magistrate Alok Kumar Pandey visited Vriddh Jageshwar today, where he inaugurated the newly constructed Yagyashala built by the temple committee. On this occasion, he also offered prayers at the temple and wished for the prosperity and well-being of the people of the district.
The District Magistrate praised the efforts of the temple committee for building the Yagyashala and said that the Vriddh Jageshwar temple is an ancient site of great spiritual significance. He added that visiting this temple provides a divine and unique experience.
He further stated that efforts will be made to develop this area as a marriage destination. Along with this, initiatives will be taken to promote temple development and boost tourism-related activities. He directed the Tehsildar to identify available government land around the temple premises so that facilities such as parking and other tourism infrastructure can be developed.
On this occasion, Tehsildar Jyoti Dhapwal, members of the temple committee, and priests were also present.
