Almora. The 10th Provincial Convention of the Ministerial Association of Circle Offices, Irrigation Department, Uttarakhand was successfully held on 12 September 2025 at Shakti Sadan, Almora. The first session was conducted in a dignified atmosphere with Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Srivastava, Chief Engineer Almora as the Chief Guest. Mr. Gokaran Singh, Chief Mechanical Engineer, was represented by Mrs. Ritika Pal, Executive Engineer, while Mr. Javed Anwar, Superintending Engineer, attended as the Special Guest.
The convention was presided over by Mr. Purnanand Nautiyal, Provincial President, and conducted by Mr. Rajendra Singh Nagarkoti, Provincial General Secretary. Retired colleague Mr. Bhuvan Chand Pant was also present on the occasion.
During the session, major demands were placed before the Chief Guest, including keeping the sanctioned posts of divisional offices intact, constructing office buildings in districts where government buildings are not available for divisional offices, and granting Superintending Engineers the authority to approve Group-B officers’ GF. The Chief Guest assured that all demands would be fulfilled at the earliest.
In the second session, elections of the Ministerial Association of Circle Offices, Irrigation Department, Uttarakhand were held under the supervision of Mr. Bishan Giri, Provincial General Secretary of the Ministerial Association, Irrigation Department, Uttarakhand, and Mr. Manish, Provincial President of the Uttarakhand Diploma Mechanical Organization, Irrigation Department.
