The dilapidated condition of Quarab Road has triggered deep resentment among local traders. On this issue, trader Salman Ansari made it clear that the genuine voice of traders should not be turned into a political platform.
He said, “I am a trader myself, and I know the pain a trader goes through. Quarab Road has been in a poor state for a long time. Its condition not only troubles the general public but has also caused us traders severe economic losses. Customers have stopped coming, transportation of goods has become difficult, and business is on the verge of collapse.”
Referring to the recent torch march, Ansari said it was a peaceful movement solely led by traders. Unfortunately, the Congress party jumped in and tried to give it a political color. He emphasized that this struggle is not for political gain but only for basic facilities.
Salman Ansari further stated, “Our aim is not politics, but solutions. We need proper roads, cleanliness, and basic infrastructure so that business can run smoothly. We appeal to politicians not to use the traders’ pain as a tool for their benefit. Our struggle is for truth and rights, not for political advantage.”
