Emphasis on Quality and Timely Completion for Public Convenience
Almora: The Mayor of Almora Municipal Corporation, Ajay Verma, and Municipal Commissioner, Divesh Shasni, conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing road construction from NTD Road to Dharki Tooni. The inspection aimed to ensure construction quality, assess progress, and review technical standards to prevent future inconveniences to the local population.
Also present during the inspection were Assistant Engineer Deepak Singh Matyali, contractor Lal Singh Jalal, and several local residents.
Mayor Ajay Verma stated that the Municipal Corporation is continuously striving to improve basic infrastructure for citizens. “This road was a much-needed development for the locals. The poor condition of the previous road had been causing difficulties for years,” he remarked. He further emphasized that no compromise would be made on construction quality.
Municipal Commissioner Divesh Shasni instructed the executing agency to complete the work within the stipulated time and strictly adhere to technical specifications. He also directed that all safety protocols be followed at the construction site to prevent any accidents.
Assistant Engineer Deepak Singh Matyali informed that materials being used are as per prescribed standards and the work is under constant supervision. He assured that efforts are being made to complete the construction swiftly and safely.
Local residents appreciated the initiative of the Municipal Corporation and stated that this road would become a major convenience for the area. They also urged the authorities to maintain the construction quality throughout the project.
Both the Mayor and Municipal Commissioner reaffirmed that the Municipal Corporation is committed to resolving public issues and will continue to monitor all projects related to public welfare with vigilance.
