
Almora. A special meeting was organized by the Women’s Welfare Institution to celebrate the prestigious “Teelu Rauteli Award” being conferred upon the institution’s patron, Meeta Upadhyay. On this occasion, office bearers and members of the institution warmly congratulated her, extended their best wishes, and praised her remarkable contributions.
Speakers said that this honor is not only for Meeta Upadhyay but also a matter of pride for the entire institution and for all those women for whom she has been working tirelessly. Through her guidance and dedicated efforts, countless women have found a new direction in life. Her work in the fields of women’s education, self-employment, self-reliance, awareness, and empowerment was described as exemplary and inspirational.
Institution President Mrs. Rita Durgapal stated that this award is not only a recognition of her hard work and dedication but also a source of inspiration for all women striving to make their mark in society. She added that the institution feels proud to have such a guiding light, whose life of struggle and service stands as a role model for everyone.
During the meeting, it was also decided that the institution will launch a series of special campaigns and programs to further her mission so that her vision and efforts can reach women across society.
